The Bio

Mike Maldonado

Pro skateboarder since 1995. A blue-collar hero with more than thirty years on the board, Mike represents the purest form of dedication to craft over commerce.

He named Loot Cakes and conceived every idea inside it — the attitude, the energy, the cultural voice. Raw East Coast grit that cannot be manufactured because it was never designed to be sold.

Still skating daily. Makes his own bread. Grows his own food. Works with his hands. Health is wealth is not a tagline — it is a lived practice that runs through every piece with his name on it.

*Loot Cakes is a collaboration with Kymberly Robinson, who handles all original design, illustration, production, and creative direction — translating Mike's concepts into finished artwork and managing full production from design to garment.*

*Meet other artisans.*

Every piece in the house begins with one of seven founding artisans. Their work, their charity, their story — written into every collection.
